A quiet place for watches that deserve care
We work with timepieces at our own pace — listening to what each watch needs before anything else. No pressure, no surprises.
What We Offer
Three ways we can help
Each path is shaped around your watch and what feels right for you — nothing is rushed.
Gentle Routine Service
A light, restorative service for watches in regular use — cleaning, lubrication of key points, and careful regulation. We start with a friendly look-over and share what we notice before any work begins.
- Cleaning and fresh lubrication
- Careful timing regulation
- Typically completed within two weeks
Dial & Hands Conservation
Careful work on the face of the watch — easing tarnish, refitting loose hands, and attending to lume sympathetically. The goal is to preserve the original look you know, not make it appear new.
- Tarnish easing and surface care
- Hand refitting and alignment
- Each step discussed with you
Full Restoration Programme
An unhurried, end-to-end restoration for watches needing deeper care — movement, case, crystal, and water resistance where suitable. A written record is kept throughout; you may pause or stop at any stage.
- Full movement and case care
- Crystal and gasket attention
- Right for heirlooms and sentimental pieces
Why Bualuang
What sets us apart
These are the things that we think matter most, shaped by fifteen years of caring for watches in Bangkok.
Conversation before work
We tell you what we find before touching anything. You decide what happens next — there's no obligation at any stage.
Written records kept
Every piece in our care has its own written log. Nothing is done from memory, and you receive a copy when we return the watch.
Sympathetic approach
We work to preserve character rather than erase it. A watch that has lived a life often tells that story quietly — we respect that.
Honest timelines
We give realistic completion windows and keep you informed along the way. If something takes longer, you will know before it does.
Sentimental pieces welcome
We understand that some watches carry more than time. Inherited pieces and gifts receive the same careful attention as any other work on our bench.
Convenient Bangkok location
Our workshop is on Ratchadamnoen Road in Phra Nakhon — accessible by foot, tuk-tuk, or public bus from much of the old city.
No obligation
Have a watch you'd like us to look at?
A short note about your watch is all we need to get started. We'll take it from there at a pace that suits you.

Questions
Things people often ask
How do I know which service my watch needs?
You don't need to decide in advance — that's our job. Send us a short description or bring the watch in, and we'll have a look and talk through what we find. There's no pressure to proceed with anything.
How long does a routine service take?
A Gentle Routine Service typically takes around two weeks. Dial and hands work and full restoration take somewhat longer, depending on what the watch needs. We'll give you a realistic estimate before work starts and keep you posted.
Can I stop the work partway through?
Yes. Particularly on the Full Restoration Programme, we structure work in stages and check in with you at each one. If you'd like to pause or stop, simply let us know and we'll discuss the safest way to return the watch to you.
Do you work on quartz watches as well as mechanical ones?
We focus primarily on mechanical and automatic movements where our bench skills are most useful. For quartz pieces, we're happy to discuss what you have and see whether we can help — please get in touch and we'll be straightforward with you.
How do the prices work — are they fixed?
The figures shown are starting points for typical work. If your watch needs something beyond the standard scope, we'll discuss the additional cost with you before proceeding — you won't be surprised by the final amount.
How is my watch kept safe while with you?
Each watch is logged by name and reference on arrival, stored securely when not on the bench, and handled only by our trained staff. You can call or message at any point to ask how things are going.
